Resources Week 5 reflection


In this Fifth week, we entered the class a usual. Firstly, Puan Foziah showed us about the benefit of using Moeya Software. As what we have learned in the previous week, the software is mainly to download YouTube video in fast and easy medium. She tried to download Maher Zain video as for the example. The step seemed simple as once we open the video, the Moeya link will appear and we can download it directly through the software. Later, we just save it and can be played anytime we want.
The second part of the class was about the explanation of the Assignment 2: which is the Technological Teaching Aids Collection that carries 10 marks. Then, we had been assigned to work in pair for this assignment. We were not allowed to work with the same gender to prevent troublesome. In this assignment, we were asked to make a collection of technology teaching aids. This could include flash cards, edited pictures and e-books, gifs and animations, audio and video clips. These are the good task whereby we can apply all the knowledge and input that we have learned.
In the follow up stage, we need to complete the tables given about the topics that we were assigned. My partner and i got the three topics which are “Learning about”, “Story time” and “Fun time”. Thus, we were required to make three lesson plans for these three topics. In the lesson plan, there must be an explanation about the materials that our group had decided, the rationales of it and other purposes. I think at the end of this assignment, this will give me a clear view on what I can do with all those resources within appropriate time.
In conclusion, I hope that this assignment will motivate me to be hardworking person. For sure, it can provide me with a lot of experiences especially in term of the collaboration with my partner. That’s all from me for this week. Bye.
